Lapis Lazuli was the blue pigment of choice until the 19th century and the discovery of man-made ultramarine blue. This true, pure lapis is very finely ground. When suspended in oil or egg mediums it has beautiful clear depth and richness.Beautiful, rich, clean and transparent.
