Williamsburg Red Pigments
Alizarin Crimson
#684P Alizarin Crimson
PR83
Easily the strongest alizarin you can find. Incredibly beautiful, this particular shade is versatile because it can go sweet (pink) or sour (orange) very easily, depending on how it's used

Cadmium Red Light

#587P Cadmium Red Light
PR108
Intense scarlet. Some call it a Cadmium Orange-Red

Cadmium Orange
#546P Cadmium Orange
PO20
Many people consider this a perfect true orange

Cadmium Red Medium
#607P Cadmium Red Medium
PR108
A true medium. Not heading too much into the blue or orange. With cadmiums this is a difficult balance to maintain

Cadmium Red Deep
#647P Cadmium Red Deep
PR108
Slightly bluish. A true "cherry" red. Some might consider this a medium red.

Fanchon Red
#624P Fanchon Red
PR112
This is a very beautiful high-keyed red- different from cadmium red in that it leans toward warm, glowing pinks when added to white. This is a very useful bright red for mixing. It stays cleaner and clearer than most other reds in mixes. Warmer than Quinacriodone Red.

Permanent Crimson

#685P Permanent Crimson
PR177
Similar to Alazarin, again very beautiful, this shade is more permanent and very versatile. Yields incredible glazes.

Permanent Red-Orange
#563P Permanent Red-Orange
PO5
A strong, somewhat sour, tomato-like red orange.

Pyrazolone Red Scarlet
#635P Pyrazolone Red Scarlet
PR177
Superb Color, similar to Cadmium Red Light in its orange - like warmth, but extremely versatile  as a mixing color - very clear pinks. Also, it can accept blues in mixing without turning muddy.

Pyrazolone Red Deep
#645P Pyrazolone Red Deep
PR38
Even though it has quite a strong bluish undertone, it will not gray - out when yellow is added. This is a color many people think of as cherry red.  In mass-tone it's similar to Cadmium Red Purple, but mixes very differently.

Quinacridone Red
#665P Quinacridone Red
PV19
Many companies use the term "rose" for this pigment, which means that they are thinning out an intense ruby-like red. Our is full strength. A superb mixing color. The cleanest pinks, flesh tones, and violets can be made with it.

Quinacridone Magenta
#775P Quinacridone Magenta
PR122
A quinacridone that fits perfectly between our red and violet shades.  A true, ultra rich magenta that stops just short of becoming violet Prismatic in its clarity with a warm innner glow.
